The Challenge

Elto Pets had a clear vision — build a premium online store for natural dog treats that could compete with established UK pet retailers. But they faced several hurdles common to new e-commerce brands.

Our Solution

Ciatel Corp designed and built a complete e-commerce website for Elto Pets, tailored specifically to the UK pet treats market.

We started with the store architecture — structuring product categories, collections, and navigation around how dog owners actually search and shop. Categories were organised by treat type (chews, training treats, dental sticks), by dog size, and by dietary requirement (grain-free, hypoallergenic), making it easy for customers to find exactly what they need.

The site was built with performance as a priority. Fast page loads aren't just a nice-to-have in e-commerce — they directly affect conversion rates. We optimised images, minimised render-blocking resources, and ensured the site scored above 90 on Core Web Vitals, giving Elto Pets an edge over slower competitors.

For SEO, we implemented a comprehensive strategy from the ground up: keyword-optimised product descriptions, proper schema markup for Product and Offer types (so Google shows prices and availability in search results), clean URL structures, meta tags on every page, an XML sitemap, and a blog-ready content section for ongoing organic growth.

The entire storefront was integrated with Shopify, giving Elto Pets a powerful back-office for managing products, processing orders, tracking inventory, and handling shipping — all from one dashboard. Payment processing, automated order confirmations, and shipping label generation were all configured and tested before handoff.
